Fudgy and rich brownies made with a nutritious base of black beans and sweet dates, studded with juicy cherries and topped with crunchy roasted hazelnuts and dark chocolate.
Pit the 100 g dates, pit the 100 g cherries, and chop the 25 g hazelnuts and 25 g dark chocolate.
Soak the 100 g dates in 100 ml water in a bowl for 10 minutes if they are firm or if you are not using a high-performance blender.
Mix the 45 g rolled oats, 40 g hazelnuts, 30 g cocoa powder, 4 ml baking powder, and a 1 pinch salt together in a large bowl.
Blend the 200 g black beans together with the soaked dates and their soaking water in a high-speed blender until a smooth cream forms.
Add the blended bean-date cream to the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly until combined.
Fold the pitted 100 g cherries gently into the brownie batter.
Spread the batter evenly into a baking dish (approx. 17x27 cm). Scatter the chopped 25 g hazelnuts and 25 g dark chocolate over the top. Bake at 180°C Umluft for 35 minutes.
Let the brownies cool completely, then drizzle with 15 ml nut butter before serving.
